Tecsys Recognized Among SupplyChainBrain’s 100 Great Supply Chain Partners
Nominated by customers, supply chain technology firm Tecsys earns a spot in SupplyChainBrain’s list of 100 Great Supply Chain Partners.
Booker T. Washington gave us the line, “If you want to lift yourself up, lift up someone else.” It’s a compelling message that reminds us that our success is closely linked to those we equip for success. It’s also a mindset toward the customer that we take to heart.
At Tecsys, we build software that lifts supply chain organizations up so they are better able to handle complex logistics challenges. We approach these business relationships with a partnership lens because we believe that pragmatic organizations need to work together to figure out what’s working, what’s not working and how to get everyone rowing in the same direction. That’s where the magic happens.
Not all vendor/practitioner relationships will achieve that dynamic. I remember this great soundbite in one of Hays Waldrop’s podcasts; a guest told Hays that supply chain practitioners need to recognize which of their vendors are strictly transactional, and which ones are transformational – and to nurture those transformational ones. He went on to explain that transactional ones are unlikely to ever become transformational because that’s how some folks are wired. NB: I’d love to attribute the comment to the actual guest, but neither Hays nor I could recall which of his hundreds of guests said it.
Those transformational relationships are what we’re after. And it’s for that reason that we are so privileged to be recognized by our customers for that spirit of partnership through SupplyChainBrain’s list of 100 Great Supply Chain Partners:
“For twenty years running, SupplyChainBrain has published our much-anticipated list of 100 Great Supply Chain Partners — a select group of companies whose customers recognize them for providing outstanding solutions and services,” says said Brad Berger, publisher, SupplyChainBrain. “Our six-month online poll of supply chain professionals requires a qualified response, asking them to nominate vendors and service providers whose solutions have made a significant impact on their company’s efficiency, customer service and overall supply chain performance.”
Last month, we shared one of these impactful stories from Sanford Health, a customer that operates in an industry highly affected by the global turmoil that began in 2020. In it, Seth Adkins, Surgical Services business manager, commented on the ultimate goal for supply chain: “Supply chains work best when they are both performant and in the background, and that is what Tecsys enables us to do.”
We believe that good organizations should have every opportunity to thrive — to be the benchmark for their industry. As a supply chain software vendor, we are delighted when our customers leverage our software to stay the course, even in the midst of disruption.
And so, thank you to our customers for trusting us as their supply chain partner and for giving us this award through the nomination process.
