Kramer Deploys TECSYS' WMS, Augments Distribution to Over 500 Orders Per Day, Cost-effectively Improves Service Levels
Montreal, April 8, 2013—Kramer Ltd., Saskatchewan's exclusive Caterpillar Dealer, following its unprecedented growth over the past few years, selected and deployed TECSYS' WMS (Warehouse Management System) that has enabled the Company to significantly improve efficiency, order accuracy and better respond to its clients' needs.
Kramer's challenges included the ability to process up to 500 orders per day, move from a traditional paper-based to automated/system-directed processes and track orders, parts and deliveries throughout their supply chain network. They also needed to improve labor efficiency and better manage resources to respond to their customers in a timely manner in order to strengthen the Company's mantra of "Excellence in Support".
"Every day, our people deliver the support our customers need to maximize their success. Our customers' needs drive all that we do. With TECSYS' warehouse management software our employees are empowered to uphold our mission, which is to make our customers more profitable by providing safe, innovative, cost-effective solutions. Given TECSYS' robust technology and the relatively simple process-driven approach to deploying its software applications, our management team leveraged TECSYS' professional expertise and structured implementations to enable us to be up and running as quickly as possible with the least amount of interventions. The results are clear: improved efficiency in our parts centre and an improved level of order accuracy which translates into the highest level of customer satisfaction," said Kramer Ltd. President, Timothy (Tim) R. Kramer.
